We’re introducing our updated recording service with an experienced engineer and building examples of the work we can deliver. In return, the selected artist provides a short, honest written testimonial and permission to share an agreed excerpt of the finished song on NCR’s website and social pages. No video is required.
- Two reserved studio hours with an experienced engineer. Setup and recording must fit in that block.
- Comping, basic editing and vocal tuning, with mixing and mastering afterward.
- Three rounds of changes within the original song’s scope.
- Finished WAV and MP3 files. You pay $0, including the covered work and any applicable tax. No required purchase afterward.
Who it’s for: solo artists 18+ who can record in Corrales this November. We’ll review your song readiness, what needs recording and your availability before choosing one project.

Who can apply: solo artists age 18 or older who can attend NCR in Corrales, New Mexico, for a November session. You arrange your own travel. One application per artist.
When: applications open November 6, 2026 and close November 13, 2026 at 8 PM Mountain (MST). Submit the website form before closing. Comments, likes, tags and DMs are not applications.
Song fit: bring a written, rehearsed song and any needed beat or backing track, with permission to record and use them. A rough phone demo is fine. We review the song before selecting the artist. Songwriting, new beat production, major arrangement work, heavy editing, extra songs and video production are outside this project.
How NCR chooses: Randy and the engineer review song readiness, the ability to record it within two studio hours, and compatible November availability. This is a project application, not a random draw. Follower counts, likes and sharing do not determine selection. If equally suitable projects remain, the earlier complete application is selected.
Next steps: NCR plans to email the selected artist by November 14. They have 48 hours to reply. We confirm the exact song, recording date and delivery timeline together before booking. If they decline or cannot schedule, we contact the next suitable artist. If no application fits, we will announce that no project was selected; we will not quietly change the deadline.
The exchange: only the selected artist agrees to provide a few honest written sentences about their experience within seven days after final delivery, and permission for NCR to use that testimonial and one agreed song excerpt of up to 30 seconds on its website and organic social pages. We confirm the exact excerpt, artist credit and publication timing in writing before posting. The artist keeps ownership of their music; this permission is nonexclusive. Applying alone gives NCR no permission to publish an applicant’s demo.
Honest feedback: positive feedback is not required, and criticism will not affect delivery of the promised song. NCR will disclose the free project when publishing the testimonial. No Google review is part of this exchange. Paid ads, full-song uploads or other uses need separate permission.
Contact and privacy: NCR uses your name, email, song information and availability to review and contact you about this application. Submissions are stored through Squarespace and sent to NCR’s inbox. NCR and its engineer may review the project details. You are not automatically subscribed to marketing emails.
