We obsess over every detail, from acoustics and equipment to the flow of each session, so artists can focus fully on creating. Our priority is people, not gear. Randy Nieto
Founder and Operations Manager of NCR
Randy is the visionary Founder of Nieto Custom Records, a recording studio built on the belief that every artist deserves a sound as unique as their story. With a passion for music production, artist development, and sonic innovation, Randy established Nieto Custom Records to bridge creativity and craftsmanship, offering artists a professional yet inspiring space to bring their music to life. He has always believed artists in our area deserve a world-class studio without having to leave New Mexico or break their budget. As an artist himself, he knows how hard it is to grow and share your vision with the world. So he designed and built a space where serious people can come and work, and have confidence in their product.
With a Bachelors degree in Music Production and Operating from Full Sail University, along with years of experience in audio engineering, studio operations, and collaborative artistry, Randy has cultivated a studio culture centered on authenticity, precision, and personalized sound design. Day-to-day Randy produces, engineers, and is the studio manager. He is usually in our Studio B room, helping artists shape songs, dialing in sounds, running sessions, and making sure the technical side disappears so the creative side can flow. Randy also oversees the health and premium look of the studio itself, such as maintenance, gear, scheduling, and making sure every client who walks in has a smooth, professional experience from the first message to the final master. Nieto Custom Records has become a trusted creative home for both emerging and established artists, known for its commitment to quality, detail, and a truly custom recording experience.
